The current name arrived in 2018, when Woodbine's standardbred racing moved in permanently. Racing usually runs Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with a 6:30 p.m. post time. Part 2
Brantford, Elora, Toronto and Niagara Falls
Elements Casino Brantford, at 40 Icomm Drive, is about 29 km west-southwest of central Dundas. It opened in 1999 and was formerly OLG Casino Brantford. Great Canadian has managed it since May 2018. Elements Casino Grand River works out of Grand River Raceway, 7445 Wellington County Rd 21, Elora. That one is about 59 km northwest, and its phone is 519-846-2022.
Toronto has the newer resort. Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto opened on June 20, 2023, at the Woodbine Racetrack site, about 57 km north-northeast in a straight line.
Niagara Falls holds two rooms, Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara. Both sit about 74 km east of Dundas. OLG owns them, and Mohegan has run day-to-day gaming at both since 2019.
